STV

Boat: STV Performance Hull
Status:  🟢 Active Build
Project Started:  2025

Every performance boat is a continuous work in progress, and this STV is no exception. After the 2025 racing season, Rocky has been working alongside the owner to improve the boat's reliability, wiring, and data collection while preparing it for the 2026 Soda Racing season.

Build Timeline:

Fall 2025 - June 2026

  • Complete electrical system rewire

  • Installed new gauge package

  • Installed AIM Data Acquisition Display

The Allison XB-2003 has undergone a complete modernization focused on reliability, appearance, and performance. Beginning in the fall of 2024, Rocky started transforming the boat with extensive electrical upgrades and a refreshed cockpit designed for years of dependable service.

These upgrades provide a cleaner, more reliable electrical system while giving the driver modern instrumentation and improved functionality.

The new FuelTech system provides critical engine information at a glance, allowing for improved monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning. As with all Rocky's Speed Shop builds, this project will continue to evolve with future upgrades and refinements.

Allison XP-2002

This Allison XP-2002 is an ongoing performance project focused on giving the driver more precise engine data and tuning capabilities. Rocky installed a FuelTech digital display and sensor package to provide real-time engine monitoring and valuable performance data.
